High-altitude Verdicchio from Apiro
The Felici family has farmed vineyards between Apiro and Cupramontana for generations, in the heart of Verdicchio country below Monte San Vicino.
Leopardo Felici continues the family work with organic farming, hand harvesting and precise winemaking without dominant new oak.
02 · Place
Between the Apennines and the Adriatic
Vineyards around 500 metres combine warm days, cool nights and calcareous clay soils, preserving fragrance and acidity while building a savoury mineral line.
03 · In the cellar
Winemaking with purpose
A blend of younger and older vineyards spends a few days on the skins, followed by three months on fine lees in stainless steel and two additional months in bottle.
