01 · Winery

The family estate that changed Bolgheri

Tenuta San Guido stretches between the Tuscan hills and the sea. The Incisa della Rocchetta family brings wine, thoroughbred horses and nature conservation together within one remarkable estate.

Following the success of Sassicaia, the estate explored other expressions of Bolgheri. Guidalberto appeared at the turn of the millennium after more than twenty years of experimentation.

02 · Place

Bolgheri between hills and sea

Stony, calcareous soils, Mediterranean sunlight and sea breezes give Cabernet and Merlot full ripeness while preserving aromatic clarity and freshness.

03 · In the cellar

Winemaking with purpose

Carefully sorted grapes ferment at controlled temperature. The 2021 vintage matured for 24 months in French oak, using a combination of new, once-used and twice-used barriques before final blending and bottle ageing.
