Franciacorta · Pinot Noir · Zero Dosage
A vintage, zero-dosage Franciacorta made entirely from Pinot Noir and aged five years on lees.

Where the Franciacorta story began
The year 1961 is central to Berlucchi and to Franciacorta: it marks the first traditional-method sparkling wine made in the area. The ’61 range carries that date in its name.
Bottle fermentation, extended lees ageing and precise work with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir remain at the heart of the house style.

Glacial hills below Lake Iseo
Franciacorta lies south of Lake Iseo. Glacial soils, warm days and cooler currents from the Alps allow Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to combine ripeness with firm acidity.

Winemaking with purpose
After secondary fermentation in bottle, the wine rests on its lees for at least five years. No dosage is added at disgorgement, leaving the 2016 vintage, Pinot Noir fruit and long ageing in a taut, bone-dry balance.
