Adrien Redon works in Trépail on the Montagne de Reims. This Premier Cru village is unusual for its strong Chardonnay identity within an area also renowned for Pinot Noir.
Un R d’Autrefois follows the family’s traditional approach and uses low dosage to leave terroir, reserve wines and a dry finish in the foreground.

Chardonnay on the Montagne de Reims
Trépail’s chalky soils and eastern exposure create Chardonnay with citrus clarity and mineral energy. Pinot Noir adds body and depth to the blend.
03 · In the cellar
Winemaking with purpose
The blend combines Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and reserve wines. Bottle fermentation and long lees ageing create pastry notes, while Extra Brut dosage leaves a dry, precise finish.
