Historic cellars in the village of Barolo
Marchesi di Barolo is based in the village itself. It was here in the nineteenth century that the dry style of Nebbiolo now known as Barolo began to take shape.
The house continues more than two centuries of local history. The Tradizione range blends sites to create a classic expression of the appellation.

A mosaic of Langhe hills
Barolo is not one uniform slope but a complex pattern of exposures and soils. Blending several sites can bring fragrance, structure and balance into one traditional interpretation.

Winemaking with purpose
Long vinification and maturation gradually transform firm Nebbiolo. Fruit develops into rose, tobacco, cinnamon and woodland spice while tannins soften without disappearing.
Winery and production information is based on the producer’s official materials.
