Wine story
Tenuta San Leonardo
VETTE
Trentino · Sauvignon Blanc
A Sauvignon named after the mountain peaks surrounding its vineyards.
01 · Winery
A historic estate below the Dolomites
Tenuta San Leonardo lies in Trentino between the mountains and the Adige valley. The family estate brings together long history and a restrained, highly precise approach to wine.
Vette first appeared with the 2011 vintage as a fresh white interpretation of the landscape. Its name refers to the peaks surrounding the Sauvignon Blanc vineyards.
02 · Place
A vineyard framed by peaks
Valley winds cool the warm days and allow Sauvignon Blanc to ripen aromatically while holding acidity. The estate considers its earthy minerality a signature of Vette.
03 · In the cellar
Winemaking with purpose
The grapes are handled protectively to preserve fresh aromatics. Neutral vessels and fine-lees work add texture while fruit, herbs and mineral drive remain dominant.
