ROERO ARNEIS
Piedmont · Roero Arneis DOCG
An elegant Piedmontese white from a grape Vietti helped bring back to prominence.
01 · Winery
Piedmont tradition with a pioneering spirit
Vietti is based in Castiglione Falletto in the heart of the Langhe. The estate is known for respecting individual vineyard sites and for bringing renewed attention to once-overlooked Piedmontese grapes.
Artist-designed labels are another part of the house identity, linking place, traditional varieties and contemporary storytelling.
02 · Place
The hills of Langhe and Roero
Across the Tanaro river, the compact calcareous soils of the Langhe give way to the sandier slopes of Roero. Vietti works with both landscapes and lets each grape retain its regional identity.
03 · In the cellar
Winemaking with purpose
Vietti was among the producers who brought the nearly forgotten Arneis back to prominence. Stainless-steel vinification preserves the grape’s delicacy and subtle almond finish.
Winery and production information is based on the producer’s official materials.
