01 · Winery

A Sicilian family of wine and art

Donnafugata was founded in 1983 by Giacomo Rallo and Gabriella Anca, building on generations of family wine history and helping to present a modern, elegant Sicily to the world.

The estate now works across several parts of the island. Its unmistakable artistic labels connect every wine with Sicilian landscape, literature and imagination.

02 · Place

Sicilian sun balanced by wind and altitude

Intense Mediterranean light builds ripe flavour, while wind, elevation and carefully chosen vineyard sites preserve freshness. The result is generous fruit without losing definition.

03 · In the cellar

Winemaking with purpose

Launched in 1995 with the involvement of renowned oenologist Giacomo Tachis, the wine combines rigorous grape selection, barrique ageing and patient bottle maturation.
