The family estate that changed Bolgheri

Tenuta San Guido stretches between the Tuscan hills and the sea. The Incisa della Rocchetta family brings wine, thoroughbred horses and nature conservation together within one remarkable estate.

Following the success of Sassicaia, the estate explored other expressions of Bolgheri. Guidalberto appeared at the turn of the millennium after more than twenty years of experimentation.

Stony, calcareous soils, Mediterranean sunlight and sea breezes give Cabernet and Merlot full ripeness while preserving aromatic clarity and freshness.

03 · In the cellar

Winemaking with purpose

Guidalberto debuted with the 2000 vintage after more than twenty years of trials. Cabernet provides structure, Merlot adds roundness and barrique ageing brings the two together.
